An excerpt:
“Though at times it is something I find myself contending with for familiarity’s sake, I appreciate your “simplicity”, or perhaps better, your lightness-in the way that you carry yourself, and see things and do them-more than probably either of us or anyone can wholly understand. There is a fine line between the vast difference between complexity and complication, and I for one hope to maintain the values and inevitabilities of the former without becoming tangled up with the latter. Although I realize disappointedly that the task is often near impossible.
If “cards dealt” are a factor worthy of accounting for, I find it beautiful that despite experience -or lack of- a worldview can be so encompassing at face value. But of course, “face value” and “worldview” are not terms I am able to take lightly, nor am I able to sever them from their contexts. It is a blessing that often proves a debilitating curse, and I hope the both of us can see this for what it is and take things as they come, at “face value,” in the most honest and applicable, assertive way.”
